Device Info
The OQO is an ultra mobile PC based on a Transmeta processor. It was
released in 2004. I picked this up as my last attempt at a slider device;
my previous experiences with the Nokia N810, Aigo P8860 and Sony Mylo.
So far the experience has been nice, but I haven't made a decision on the
slider format completely yet. The OQO runs Windows and Linux fairly well,
but one of the big reasons I picked this up was to run OpenBSD on it.
OpenBSD is somewhat picky about hardware, especially when it comes to Wi-Fi
chipsets, so seeing that some folks had it working before was nice.
